  • Friday, 29 August 2014: PDM organized a tutorial entitled "On how to efficiently exploit reconfiguration aspects from your design - The FASTER tool chain" at the ISPA 2014 confernece [link]
  • January 21, 2014: FORTH had a keynote talk, "Effective Reconfigurable Design with the FASTER Tool-Flow", at the 8th HiPEAC Workshop on Reconfigurable Computing (WRC), Vienna, Austria [slides]
  • September 1, 2013: FORTH had a keynote talk, "Effective Reconfigurable Design: the FASTER Approach", at the Workshop on Research Projects focusing on High Performance Computing (in conjunction with FPL), Porto, Portugal [slides]
  • February 21, 2013: Ghent University  released their TLUT tool flow on GitHub. The tool flow generates implementations that use run-time reconfiguration to dynamically specialize the values of the lookup tables on the FPGA.   • January 21, 2013: MAXELER had a keynote talk, "Maximum Performance Computing with Dataflow Engines", at the 7th HiPEAC Workshop on Reconfigurable Computing, Berlin
  • December 15, 2012: Politecnico Di Milano and Maxeler Technologies received a HiPEAC Technology Transfer Award for their joint work "PDR-X: Design Flow to Support Dynamic Partial Reconfiguration on Maxeler Architectures".
  • September 20, 2012: Best paper award: The paper "Automatically Exploiting Regularity in Applications to Reduce Reconfiguration Memory Requirements" by Fatma Abouelella, Karel Bruneel and Dirk Stroobandt. (Ghent University) won the Stamatis Vassiliadis Memorial Award for best paper at FPL 2012 for FASTER related work! Congratulations Fatma, Karel and Dirk! More details here.
